Description
A multi-layered collage of free-from digital neurographic illustrations based on the individual floral shapes of a lupine.
There are two basic rules for neurographic lines: 1. They are conscious in thought and do not follow a repeated pattern/design . 2. They should begin and end on an edge of the substrate.
Intuitive lines converge in this free form digital artwork overlayed on nature abstracts representing the fusion of mind and art.
My composite piece is an exploration in expanding the practice so that the resultant digital artwork more closely resembles neural elements as seen in electron microscopy and also introduces free flowing forms in nature that replicate the convergence of forms within and without.
I have recently started my journey into art therapy and since neurographic art recreates the outer from the inner I'm exploring reconnecting that recreation to its limitless origins.
